El Roble Hotel - Bacalar

I stayed for 3 nights in a Standard Double Room with Two Double Beds. The room was lovely, super clean, and had a comfortable bed. WiFi was solid, and I appreciated the daily cleaning. It was a short 10-minute walk to the center and beach club. Free parking out front was a plus 😊

A combination of hits and misses

I enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and the terrace was a great spot to unwind. Staff were friendly and super accommodating to our room change request.

The location felt a bit distant from the town center, making excursions less convenient.

Accommodating staff and marvellous location in a quiet area, everything was fine. The staff helped with everything. The a double room room was included with a shower, the beds unmade, fridge. Location: the hotel was so close to cafes as well as the restaurants, cafes and lake. Truly enjoyed our good stay on holiday.

I wanted to love this place, but the shower's water was confusingly cold! The wifi was more like a thewi-fi disaster-it was hit and miss. Honestly, i expected a warm welcome gift for dealing with such minor inconveniences, but no one seemed to care. I just couldn't overlook these letdowns, despite how cute some parts of the hotel were.

I recommend it for solo adventurers

The staff were helpful when I arrived. They offered to change my room without hesitation when I needed it which was a relief. Also appreciated the complimentary coffee and cookies in the morning.

It was a tad pricey but generally worth it for the experience.

For a good breakfast, don't miss the nearby cafe, Albahaca, just a block away. It's a local gem with amazing food!

The hotel offered a convenient 24-hour front desk. We loved the clean and beautifully decorated space. It was a treat to have free water in the lobby throughout our stay, especially with our big family in tow.

For dads, it would be great to have a better flushing toilet.

My wife says that there was a loud aircon, distracting during the night.

The cozy room was well cleaned and featured lovely artwork and tile. It was great to have complimentary coffee and water available throughout the day. The shower's water temperature was inconsistent, and a better flushing toilet would have been appreciated. The lack of sound isolation allowed street noise to seep in, affecting the tranquil atmosphere.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the clean rooms and the cute terrace which made relaxing easy. But that pesky rooster outside kept waking me up! I'd still come back, though.

It was just a decent option for a weekend adventure in Bacalar with great value-to-price ratio. The art and tile in the room were quite lovely and made for a nice touch. Try to take advantage of the free coffee in the lobby throughout your stay.

Quiet Retreat with Artistic Charm

Enjoyed a wonderful stay! The room was beautifully decorated with vibrant tile work. Daily fresh coffee in the lobby added a cozy touch. Just a short stroll to Albahaca for the best breakfast. Recommend asking for a quieter room away from the main area.
